Where it is heard

District Consumer Courts under the provincial consumer protection laws, such as the Punjab Consumer Protection Act 2005 and the Sindh Consumer Protection Act 2014, and the Islamabad Consumer Protection Act 1995. The seller must first get a written notice with 15 days to put things right.

Common matters

• Defective products and refusal to repair, replace or refund
• Poor services from builders, couriers, schools or hospitals
• Overcharging and misleading advertisements
• Warranty claims against manufacturers
